Felipe Sanchez Jr., the driver of a vehicle involved in a February collision that left a San Benito CISD bus driver dead, will be sentenced on Tuesday after pleading guilty to charges stemming from the incident.
According to Melissa Zamora, Public Information Officer for the Cameron County District Attorney’s Office, Sanchez pled guilty to count 2 of intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle and count 3 of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle on Thursday, Oct. 24. His sentencing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 19 in the 107th State District Court, which is presided over by Judge Benjamin Euresti Jr.
