After nearly 20 years, Ray Saldaña, 45, and his wife Martha, 46, were reunited for the first time since high school, and immediately realized they were meant to be.
The two love birds were once friends in high school who met due to athletics. Martha was a track runner, and Ray was in multiple sports. The two; however, were separated after high school, never to see each other again.
Or so they thought.
“One day I signed my son up to play baseball,” said Ray. “The league ended up putting him in an older age division, and it turned out being the same one that her (Martha’s) son was in.”
