Los Fresnos and San Benito soccer players were recognized as part of the 2024 District 32-6A Girls’ Soccer All- District Selections.
Announcements acknowledging the outstanding performances of these players began with the category of Co-Newcomers of the Year being granted to Lady Falcon Lyla Trejo (#10).
Recognition continued with the category of 1st Team All-District applauding various athletes including Vianca Gonzalez and Alexys Olalde also from Los Fresnos and Gianna Garza and Alexis Solis from San Benito.
Earning 2nd Team All- District accolades was Tatyana Estrada, Giselle Larranga, Daniela Alegria, Madyson Harris, and Nataly Garcia, all hailing from Los Fresnos, and Valerie Soto and Ruby Morales from San Benito.
Last, but certainly not least, the All-District Selections concluded by acknowledging the Honorable Mention awardees for their hard work. The following included Sophia Barajas, Kaylie Garcia, Jayleen Jaimes, Sahely Guzman, and Chloe Pena from Los Fresnos and Lady ’Hounds Seiri Salas, Amy Herrera, Maite Villegas, Emily Vasquez, Briana Moreno, Rosselynn Zamarripa, Mayeli Rodriguez, and Abril Soto.
Wilbert Padron, Head Coach for the San Benito Girls’ Soccer team, noted that he was proud of his team, adding that he had the “pleasure to share” the All-District Selections results.
