The City of San Benito’s fourth City Hall for All Meet & Greet community outreach event is set for Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 4-7 p.m. at Falligant Park, 1400 W. Combes St.
The City launched this initiative in February and plans to continue similar functions throughout the year at various locations across the community, according to a City of San Benito press release. The first three City Hall for All Meet & Greet events were held at Fire Station No. 1, Kennedy Park and the San Benito Cultural Heritage Museum.
During these events, the community is encouraged to come and meet elected officials, city administration and various department heads to discuss issues pertaining to city operations. According to City officials, these events are an opportunity for the citizens of San Benito to have their questions and concerns addressed in their own neighborhoods.
Future dates for this event are set for June 13, July 11, August 8, September 12, October 10, November 14 and December 12 at locations to be determined at a later date. For more information, contact the City of San Benito at (956) 361-3800.
