Ladies bouncing back

The San Benito Lady ’Hounds varsity softball team kicked off the 2014 season with a 3-1 record, falling initially to McAllen Memorial by a score of 5-4 at home on Tuesday before winning three straight at the Mission Fastpitch Festival on Friday. San Benito defeated Laredo United, 11-0, and Brownsville Rivera and Porter, 3-0.
