Times they are a-changin’ at the San Benito Police Department.
As much is evident when taking a mere walk inside the station on Williams Road, where Operations Chief Martin Morales has made a number of moves since he’s taken the reins from former Chief George Gomez, who now serves as captain of a special operations task force.
Under Morales, an Internal Affairs Bureau (IAB) has been established and consists of Lieutenant Michael Galvan, who previously supervised patrol, and officers Guadalupe “Lupi” Andrade and Rogelio Banda – both of whom now serve as detectives.
