The music was playing and students were cheering while NBA star George Hill, formerly of the San Antonio Spurs and recent acquisition of the Indiana Pacers, stood at center court inside the Miller Jordan Middle School gymnasium Friday.
Hill, who along with a slew of other professional basketball players, was in the area to participate in an exhibition game with his ABA (American Basketball Association) team, Texas Fuel.
The exhibition is going to be in Brownsville Saturday at the University of Texas at Brownsville (UTB) at 7 p.m.; but on Friday, Hill and the gang were in San Benito to attend an anti-bullying rally at Miller Jordan, an event organized by campus Science Dean Cindy Clayborn.
