According to a Cameron County Sheriff’s Office report, on Saturday, November 25, 2023, Cameron County Sheriff Deputies responded to a residence in the San Benito area regarding an alleged assault.
Upon arrival, sheriff deputies made contact with a reported male victim who indicated that his girlfriend, identified as Kassandra Hernandez, allegedly assaulted him. Sheriff Deputies observed scratch marks and bruising on the male victim, according to CCSO officials.
Sheriff Deputies then made contact with Hernandez, who responded by saying she just wanted to be left alone, and did not show any signs of assault, the sheriff’s reports acknowledges.
