Man found dead after hit-and-run

Police investigators are on the search for a vehicle that killed a San Benito man in a hit-and-run accident early Wednesday morning.
According to DPS Spokesperson Sgt. Johnny Hernandez, 36-year old David Ortiz Rosales was found dead on the side of the road after a car passing by noticed his body and notified police.
Cameron County Sheriff’s deputies and DPS troopers were called to the scene, which was located on FM 2520 just north of FM 675, about half a mile from Espinosa Road.
