Say goodbye to the Chamber of Commerce moniker and hello to the Area Business Owners Association… for now, sort of.
The new merchant organization, which is looking to serve in a similar capacity as the now-defunct San Benito Chamber of Commerce, held its first meeting on Friday, Jan. 10.
The meeting was held at the Vega Professional Building, located at 216 S. Sam Houston Blvd., where the Association will hold its future meetings.
