Technically, the season of giving occurs around the Christmas holiday, but for the San Benito Elks Lodge No. 1661 it’s year-round.

For nearly 11 years, the Elks Lodge has worked with special needs children in various ways. Thanks to the lodge’s new “Special Needs Activities Program!”—spearheaded by Esteemed Leading Knight Efrain Guerrero and sponsored as a result of a one-year, $2,000 Beacon Grant from the Elks National Foundation—events such as the Christmas party held for special needs children on Saturday, Dec. 28, are made possible.
