The San Benito Indian Cultural Powwow scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 23, has been moved indoors.
“We changed the location of the powwow due to the bad weather coming in on Saturday,” said Ruben Cordova, one of the organizers of the event and a registered member of the Lipan-Apache Tribe of Texas.
Cordova (a.k.a. White Horse) said the event will now be held inside the Old Greyhound Stadium gym. It was originally scheduled at the Heavin Resaca Trail.
