Officers from the San Benito Police Department (SBPD) arrested a man who is accused of indecency with a child.
On Tuesday, May 15, at 7:38 a.m., officers arrested 59-year-old Ernesto Mendoza on accusations that he had inappropriately touched a 7-year-old girl on the 100 block of North Helen Moore Road.
Officers conducted the search after a warrant was issued when the girl told a relative that Mendoza had allegedly touched her.
