The 2012 San Benito Youth Baseball/Softball Association began its first season Saturday at Stookey Park.

A parade of 43 teams with 500 members welcomed the 800 in attendance. The parade was led by Motorcycle Officer David Ortega of the San Benito Police Department and San Benito High School NJROTC.
