Very interesting story. Look forward to seeing how this turns out. Following from out of town – who are the parents of this child and what is their level of political influence with regard to the teacher?

First, I don’t think the child was hurt in any way. If something was inappropriate then the video will show it and the principal then the superintendent would take action. This is not a criminal case. Second, what is being done here is tieing the teachers hands in the future, “you cannot touch my child or I will file charges against you”. PARENTS are at fault in almost all cases. Look at kids the way they dress, they wear their pants like prison inmates, called the prison syndrom. Tatoos are awful on minors and parents allow it. Problem is look at the parents with those tatoos, they are saying it’s ok to be a gangster and being a convict is cool.

As a former pupil from Ms. Tumberlinson, she is a devoted loyal teacher to her work and her students. I bet this same little boy would cry out to CPS when he gets spanked by his parents. Shame on the justice systems for giving rights to kids! It’s people/kids like you that congest our court system on useless accusations.

  1. That little boy should already know that he can not wear his hair like that.
It is even written is the STUDENT HANDBOOK!!!!!

    1. Oh my god you people just talk for talking,@ Mr. Rodriguez do you even know what you are saying ,,Judge Garza is doing his job but if it was your child you be doing the same…@ Mrs. Plata why would you all even talk about Rules look at way you teachers dress you are Not putting the exsample you all cover for each other IN THAT CAMPES STARTING WITH THE PRINICPLE THE POLICE OFFICER ,AND THE SECURITY GUARDS THAT DONT EVEN TALK ENGLISH ………DO THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING ?This is what you should looking out for.

Maybe you could benefit from attending Mrs. Plata’s class.
        Campus not Campes
        Principal not Principle
        example not exsample
        and fix your run-on sentences.
people don’t TALK English, they SPEAK it.
        You clearly are not educated.

“Talk for talking” . . . if your reasoning is anything like your wording, you’re in trouble.

        1. EDUCATED or not educated teachers should put the example on what is right or wrong .. starting here.. you think kids don’t read what you the adult write .It all starts at home . And Guess Who you are right why are security guards working if they don’t even Speak english .

Judge David Garza could have dismissed this case, yet he refused to do so. It seems to me he has political connections to the mom and the board member who just don’t get that their child broke the rules. Shame on Judge Garza for arraigning an innocent teacher. We must all stand up for our teachers. I used to admire JP Garza for being fair, but boy was I wrong! YOU SURE HAVE LOST MY VOTE JUDGE DAVID GARZA!!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!
