It really doesn’t matter what level of football one plays. When it comes down to turnovers, allowing big plays on special teams, and mistakes will get you beat on most nights if you have enough of them. This was the case as the San Benito LSU Tigers fell to the Brownsville Miami Hurricanes in the championship game of their league Saturday afternoon in Brownsville.

The Tigers were the underdog coming in to the game as the Hurricanes had rolled to a perfect record heading into the final contest. This included a regular season win over the Tigers in a game that could have changed had it not been for a few brief moments heading into the halftime locker-room. Still, each team knew coming in that they could win this game.

The Tigers turned the ball over three different times in the first half and it all started with the opening kick.
