Alas all good things must come to an end. Thus the Greyhound football season came to a halt last Friday against the Harlingen Cardinals. From the perspective of the guy that had a chance to announce very game it sure was a crazy ride.
The team out of the gate had to figure out how to replace their tailback that was showing absolute dominance in a couple of exhibition games. They went through another setback at a critical point in the season and found themselves in a hole with three games remaining that they had to win.
Through it all they persevered. Other injuries came into play on the line and yet guys stepped in. They were for the most part written off by the sixth week and still they found a way to get into the playoffs.
