The need for the government to provide medical care for growing numbers of military servicemen returning to civilian life as wars in Iraq and Afghanistan wind down was one topic addressed by US District 27 Congressman Blake Farenthold in a visit to San Benito Thursday.

Farenthold, a freshman congressman, serves on three House of Representatives’ Committees in Washington D.C. including Homeland Security, Transportation and Infrastructure and Government Oversight and Reform.
