A three-vehicle collision was reported in San Benito Wednesday on the corner of Stenger and Travis Streets.
San Benito police and firefighters responded at approximately 12 noon to a rollover involving two Ford Expeditions, one white and the other beige, and a Lincoln Town Car. According to police, the white Expedition was traveling south on Travis when, while crossing Stenger, allegedly failed to yield the right of way to the beige Expedition. which was heading east on Stenger.
Police said that’s when the white Expedition t-boned the beige SUV, causing it to flip almost completely on its back.
The Town Car, which was at a stop on Travis facing north, was hit by the beige Expedition as a result of the accident.
The driver of the beige Expedition, a male subject who has yet to be identified, sustained minor injuries in the crash. The driver of the white Expedition, who has also yet to be identified, was cited for failing to yield the right of way.
