The San Benito Economic Development Corporation (SBEDC) announced late last week that Julia Landrum has been named as the SBEDC’s Community Development and Marketing Manager effective March 1, 2023.
Native to the Resaca City, Julia graduated from San Benito High School in 2014. She went on to graduate from Texas A & M University in College Station, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Leadership and Development with a minor in Tourism Sciences with an emphasis in event planning.
Throughout her career in sales, Landrum gained great experience in new business development and expanding current business specific to her market. She negotiated new opportunities as well managed several high-profile accounts while remaining competitive through detailed marketing strategies.
“As the Community Development and Marketing Manager, Julia will be developing, implementing and directing strategic marketing initiatives that supports the SBEDCs efforts to attract new business and provide expansion services to existing businesses within San Benito,” said Ramiro Aleman, SBEDC Executive Director. “Julia will also be managing the community and small business programs like the Rent Subsidy, Façade Improvement, Community Partnership, Art Mural and Revolving Loan programs,” concluded Aleman.
“Mr. Aleman and I look forward to working with Miss Julia Landrum. She will help us grow the San Benito EDC brand and will be a great addition to our team,” said Mr. Angel Avila, SBEDC Economic Development Specialist.
