Seen is the spot where employees of a San Benito Industrial Park business burglarized over the weekend buried their security dog, Jake. The Weimaraner hunting canine was found dead Saturday morning; police believe it was poisoned.
A suspected case of animal cruelty and the burglary of numerous motor vehicles reported at three Industrial Park businesses are currently under investigation by the San Benito Police Department.
Authorities were reportedly notified Monday of a break-in that occurred sometime between Friday evening and Saturday morning at Amigos Del Valle, Gulf Coast Signs and RGV Pump and Equipment, where SBPD Detective Rogelio Banda Jr. said car batteries and one marine battery for a boat were taken.
