Members of the Mancillas family of San Benito are set to make their television debut on an iconic game show.

The episode of Family Feud in which they will appear is scheduled to air on October 1, 2025, as they showcase their family spirit and competitive nature in front of millions of viewers.

The Mancillas family is especially honored to represent San Benito as four members are graduates of San Benito High School, said Amanda Mancillas, a 1999 SBHS graduate and former Belle.

She is joined by her sister, Andrea Cabañas, a 2000 graduate and SBHS cheerleader. Andrea serves as the Marketing Director of the Cabañas Law Firm, and she is a former SBHS teacher.

Andrea’s husband, Alfonso Cabañas, a criminal defense attorney, is a 1999 graduate of South Texas High School for Health Professionals.

Adding to the San Benito High School legacy, Alyssa Martinez, a former Belle and cheerleader (Class of 2003), is a passionate teacher in San Antonio, while her husband, Isaac Martinez (Class of 2001), is a dedicated funeral director in Boerne, Texas.

Andrea said the Mancillas family, with deep roots in their community, proudly represents their Greyhound heritage on the national stage.

While they are eager to share this special moment with their hometown, they cannot reveal more details about their appearance until after the show airs. The Mancillas family encourages everyone to cheer them on as they begin this exciting journey.

The show airs on KRGV on Monday, October 1, 2025, at 4 p.m. (first run) and 4:30 p.m. (second run).

As reported by other outlets, the idea to audition was initiated by Alyssa, who started the application process three years ago.

After a video interview, the family was invited to Atlanta, where they spent an entire day competing against other hopefuls.

Their first round was unsuccessful, but a reshuffle in the buzzer lineup gave the San Benito team another chance — and they earned their spot on the show.

From early morning hours to bright studio lights, the family kept their energy high, encouraged by producers to stay lively for the cameras. Two episodes were ultimately taped, with the sisters and their spouses representing San Benito in front of the larger-than-life host, Steve Harvey.

For the Mancillas sisters, it was a rare opportunity to carry a hometown name onto a national stage, reminding audiences everywhere that big moments can come from small South Texas towns.
