Ramirez-Bennett rose corporate ladder

The San Benito Rotary Club recently hosted a San Benito woman who has distinguished herself as a person of leadership and vision with AT&T.

Lollie Ramirez-Bennett recently retired from AT&T with a long and distinguished career as the National CEO for Women of AT&T (WOA). Her retirement date of January 15, 2023 was proclaimed and celebrated as Lollie Ramirez-Bennett Day in the City of Houston, Texas, by the Mayor of Houston, the Honorable Sylvester Turner.

A proclamation from the State of Texas House of Representatives was read by State Representative Christina Morales at her retirement event applauding her work with AT&T and the greater Houston area.

Ramirez-Bennett, a 1982 San Benito High School Graduate, never forgot her hometown of San Benito as she moved up the corporate ladder of AT&T.

She began her career as a bilingual sales and service representative supporting small business markets in the Houston area.

Rising through the ranks, Ramirez-Bennett quickly became a trusted strategist and problem solver for AT&T that created greater growth in markets worldwide.

She was elected the National CEO of Women of AT&T (WOA), the largest employee group with 18K members worldwide. Ramirez-Bennett left a legacy that makes San Benito Proud of their native daughter, proclaimed San Benito Rotary leaders who hosted Ramirez-Bennett as a guest speaker during the club’s regular weekly meeting.
