Over the last half decade, Idea Academy in San Benito has grown exponentially in both size and quality. In addition to the school earning a $10,000 check for being the most improved campus, the Idea Academy has added Pre-K classes this year and is one of the only STEM Academy’s in the entire valley. While the school continues to grow, administrators have also taken action to make sure the environment is one that inspires imagination and encourages students and teachers to have fun.
Over the summer, two former IDEA students were hired to come in and add some life to the hallways of the Academy. Aside from being given a few topics to incorporate in their paintings, the duo of Eddie Martinez and Uriel Landeros were given free rein to design as they saw fit. The results were nothing short of spectacular.
