Woman arrested after child found alone two blocks from home

Police arrested a San Benito woman Monday afternoon after her infant daughter was found roaming around outside unsupervised.

According to Interim Police Chief Michael Galvan, 25 year old Maribel De La Rosa was arrested at her home on the 300 block of Purvis Street after a nearby resident found the 2-year old child wandering in his back yard wearing only a diaper, nearly two blocks away from her home.
