A helicopter pilot was transported to a hospital in Corpus Christi earlier today after crashing in a field in Los Fresnos.
According to DPS Spokesperson Sgt. Johnny Hernandez, the pilot, whose name has not been released, went down after he struck a power line just off FM 803 and 31600 Ebony Lane early Thursday afternoon.
