Last week, the community was outraged by the vandalism caused by six teenagers. A total of 56 vehicles were spray painted and some of them had their windows shattered. Those six teens were able to accumulate almost $50,000 in damages. After that, Chuy’s Custom Sports had a break-in where vandals broke a window, grabbed a bunch of shirts and beanies, tipped over a coke machine, and even stole a television. It was estimated to be somewhere around $1,000 worth of damage. The San Benito Food Pantry also experienced a break-in as well, but there was no word on what was stolen from there.  M.J. Screen Printing even had an incident of their own, where some of their flower pots were taken from the front of their building.
