‘Rusty’ water color concerns La Paloma residents

The Texas Commission on Environmental Equality confirmed that an investigation was launched on Monday to test water samples provided by the Military Highway Water Supply Company, which serves many local residents, including those in the La Paloma area and other surrounding rural neighborhoods.
The investigation comes after many locals expressed concerns regarding the ‘rusty’ color of their tap water. And according to many longtime residents, this has been an ongoing issue for years.
“I’ve lived around this area for 22 years and it was not that bad back then but it’s been really bad at least the last three years,” said La Paloma resident Joe Palomino………………
