P.D. assists crack cocaine sting operation that leads to three arrests

Members of the San Benito Police Department’s K-9 unit division assisted in a major sting operation regarding the sale of Crack Cocaine in the Laguna Madre area today.
The Cameron County District Attorney’s Office Special Investigations Unit (CCDAO SIU) executed two search warrants, one in Laguna Heights and the other in Laguna Vista. The searches led to the arrest of Maria Alondra Rodriguez, Maria Alicia Garcia, and Jacob Aaron Green.
The CCDAO SIU was assisted by Homeland Security Investigations, HIDTA – White Sands Task Force, Port Isabel Police Department, Customs and Border Protection, Precinct 1 Constable’s Office Deputies, the Laguna Vista Police Department, the San Benito Police Department, and the Combes Police Department.
The investigation continues.
