The official groundbreaking for construction on a new counseling building on the Sunny Glenn Children’s Home property has officially begun, with a projected finish time of next summer. The 2,625 sq. foot building will be used for multiple purposes and will even be open to the public for anybody who feels they need counseling.
The Ponisch Counseling Center, which was funded by donations from Sunny Glenn contributors, will provide staff the opportunity to have children undergo counseling while still on the property as opposed to before when a child had to be taken off to another facility.
