A torrential down pour blanketed Bobby Morrow field during the Pigskin Jubilee this past Saturday night, but that didn’t necessarily put a damper on things.
The rain marched in heavily, canceling the ceremonial presentation, but not before the Mighty Greyhound Band was able to pull off a captivating performance that essentially earned them their 9th straight Division 1 ranking.
By steam engine train, by high speed race cars, and by fixed wing aviation, the SBHS Band innovatively whisked the 73rd Annual Pigskin Jubilee audience away with a Division 1 rated show, In Transit. The show revolved around transportation and the three aforementioned modes were brought to life by the musicality of the Mighty Greyhound Marching Band and Color Guard.
