Two weeks ago, the San Benito Fire Department responded to a building that caught fire. It turned out to be one of the more dangerous fires they have responded to as two firefighters ended up falling through the roof.  Now, that fire is being investigated as arson with the top two suspects having reportedly left the Valley.

“Right now we are trying to locate a couple of suspects, but the information that we’ve been able to get from people in the community is telling us that those two suspects have fled the Valley,” said San Benito Operations Fire Chief Raul Zuniga. “We are still investigating it and trying to get some evidence but we do believe this was an intentional fire,” he added.
