The San Benito Economic Development Corporation (EDC) held a special meeting at noon on Friday, Feb. 27 to discuss funding for an application to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs for Affordable Housing Tax Credits for the Rose Garden Apartments, which will be located in San Benito’s Extra Territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ).
However, the EDC board had some questions regarding the proposal.

I wonder if the taxpayers around the area were consulted about having a low income slum in their area??
The City should be more responsible before they allow carpetbaggers to build whatever and where ever they want.
