Longtime educator takes over Greyhound golf teams

Henry Valle may have been out of coaching a while, but he surely hasn’t been out of the game.

For nearly three decades, Valle has been a fixture at San Benito High School, teaching countless students and even coaching football, soccer and track over the years.

But 18 years ago, Valle hung up his whistle and left coaching when he and his wife were expecting their twins Ben and Emma. He remained in the classroom and by his kids’ sides as they developed into two of the area’s premier golfers.

Now, he’s back. And with good reason.
