Many in the community are mourning the death of local business owner Reynalda “Reyna” Flores, who died at the age of 76 on Sunday, June 22.

Flores was the owner and operator of Isela’s Flower Shop, a well-known establishment located on East Powers Street, where for 39 years she turned her passion for art and creativity into a career as a florist.

“She was really artistic,” said Nelda Flores Lozito, one of Flores’ five children. “Anything she did was going to turn out really nice. She had a lot of pride in her work, in her career and in her family. She had a lot of pride.”

She indeed was a wonderful lady. She would help you in anyway she could. May she rest in peace.
