The Area Business Owner’s Association – an organization created to serve in a similar capacity as the defunct San Benito Chamber of Commerce – plans to establish its mission at the next scheduled meeting.
Set for 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 30 inside the Vega Professional Building, located at 216 S. Sam Houston Blvd. in San Benito, the ABOA will hold a meeting “dedicated to establishing our mission and exploring ideas for a niche market for our town,” according to ABOA President Lionel Betancourt.
“Each time we meet we will move forward with a step toward fulfilling our mission,” Betancourt said.
