Jose Angel Cavazos Jr.
SAN BENITO—Jose Angel Cavazos, Jr. (Joe), 51, passed away at his home on Monday, May 5, 2014, after a long battle with cancer.
Joe died surrounded by his loving family.
He was a life-long resident of San Benito. He graduated from San Benito High School in 1981 and TSTC with electronic degree. He was best known for his great bar-b-q ribs, chicken wings, his love of music and fishing. He was an excellent guitar player. Joe lived his life to the full and found great pleasure in helping with fund raisers. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family members.
He was preceded in death by his father Jose Angel Cavazos, Sr.
He is survived by his mother Elida Cavazos; sister Dilia Guintini (Fred) and nephew Carlo Guintini.
Visitation will be held at Henry Thomae Funeral Home 701 N. Bowie San Benito on Saturday, May 10, 2014, from 4 p.m. till 9 p.m., with a memorial service at 7 p.m.
