LOS FRESNOS – Another week, another “underdog” role for the Los Fresnos Falcons.

However, this week’s opponent is even tougher than last week’s.

The Falcons (8-3) are back in the second round of the playoffs, where they’ll face a strong Laredo United team in a Class 5A Division-I area round game at Cabaniss Stadium in Corpus Christi on Friday night.

The winner of this game will take on either Converse Judson or San Antonio Warren in the regional round Thanksgiving weekend. Los Fresnos has not been to the third round since 2008.
