MJMS chess team makes all the right moves

The Miller Jordan Middle School chess team, which recently competed at the Region 8 Chess Tournament in Los Fresnos, is shown. The team – composed of sixth, seventh and eighth graders – took home second place in the Middle School Division. The chess players will compete at the State Chess Tournament to be held in McAllen on Saturday, March 23, and Sunday, March 24.
