LOS FRESNOS – The Los Fresnos Falcons seemed to have momentum on their side going into Friday night’s game at Leo Aguilar Stadium, but they came up short against the always dangerous Harlingen Cardinals by a score of 31-14.

“I’m happy with the way the boys played. I think they played hard,” said Falcons Head Football Coach Clint Finley. “I’m proud of them. We came up a little short tonight. We didn’t make the plays that we needed in order to get the job done. Harlingen did, so unfortunately they came out on top.”
