writing in 100% support of this important action. i am currently deployed in the northernmost zone and quickly approaching 30yrs of active federal service (AFS). I felt I owed our nation a huge level of gratitude and wished to repay through my honorable service for “giving” me a simple but very important Headstart Program service. james, if you could reach and help just one person,…………….a special thanks goes out to Congressman V. -hope to see you in the chow-hall Sir.
Mr. Dillon in respond to your letter, it is not these people’s fault. It is the agency that gives them all of these freebies. You are right in a sense but the people responsible are the ones that don’t do their work in investigating these people. One time I went to HEB and two little children were asking their Mom if she
has received the Food Stamps and she said “yes”. The little boys were so excited because they would now eat cereal. I stopped complaining about Food Stamp at that time. Yes, some people abuse but for those that don’t, I feel sorry for them. At the end, God is watching us and I will continue to help the organizations that ask for money (veterans, highway patrol, firemen, Cancer, St. Jude’s children, The Hungry, Driscoll etc. I am not rich but I feel good doing this. Have a Blessed Day Mr. Dillon and may God bless you and your family.
Well, said Mr. Johnson. Some of us are more fortunate then others. Therefore, we should help those in need.
I always help even the ones in the streets asking for money. I do it because I care about humanity. God sees everything.
Thank God for Neil Diamond’s coming to America! It’s not complicated Under the pledge of Allegiance we live as one nation under God . God asked us to go put and and feed the hungry cloth the poor because we will be judged at the end by our deeds not are remarks or arguments towards about our brother’s and sisters all over the world and at home. Visit the suburbs of Tennessee , Arkansas, you’ll find people on welfare there too. we who live in the deep south and are considered one of the poorest regions in the nation can be proud when ever we have the opportunity to give to those in need especially the the children. I for one and strict towards having disciplined people but you will never find that in America because we are God’s country and we would not have it any other way.
