The State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) results have been released, and every school within the San Benito CISD achieved a “Met Standard” rating.
“In the past, we used to have ratings that were referred to as a campus being Exemplary, which is the highest rating; the next highest was Recognized and then Acceptable, and then Unacceptable. Those no longer exist under the new accountability system,” explained San Benito CISD Planner/Evaluator Ruben Franco. “Basically there are two new ratings. Either you met standard or did not meet the standard.”

Yes Richard, outstanding job by the teachers and students. There are individuals who want the best
Educational Opportunities for our children. CAN’t say that about the board.
The teachers and students are to be commended for meeting the standard in this much harder test. That is one less thing they can blame Mr. Limon for, if the scores had been bad it would have been his fault. Looking at scores around the state, the Robstown district didn’t do very well. Traveling Four way to pick an interim. Also please make sure and adjust his salary now that raises were given. This is the highest paying job in his career. This is a 5 A district something he is not familiar with, he needs the extra pay to do exactly what the Traveling Four are telling him to do.
