LOS FRESNOS – Charges continue to mount in the case of Margaret Gil, the driver of a Toyota RAV4 involved in a two-vehicle head-on collision that left a family of three and their relative as well as a passenger in Gil’s vehicle dead.
According to the Cameron County Sheriff’s Department, Gil, 32, has been charged with five counts of intoxication manslaughter in addition to her initial charges of criminal negligent homicide, of which there are also five counts.
