SBCISDExpect more changes in personnel at the San Benito Consolidated Independent School District.

But as of Thursday, two vacant principal positions were filled. It only took the San Benito CISD Board of Trustees approximately an hour and a half of closed session discussion at a June 27 special meeting to come to an agreement with Interim Superintendent Alfonso Obregon’s recommendations for the two vacant principal posts.

Oldtimer. Hopefully when someone does contact the FBI make sure and tell them to request the surveillance from the administration office so that they can see how often Chuy Aguilera is visiting with the purchasing agents wife Special Ed Director Theresa Cantu!! Yes, Special Ed Director!! Also, to take a look at how Fatima Huertas husband Alex was with Adrian Garcia the purchasing agent in the board room going through a box full of documents!! What documents were they, who knows? But Alex Garcia, Fatima Huerta husband is not an employee of SBCISD and has ZERO business being at the administration office, much less going through unknown documents with Adrian Garcia!!

I’m amazed at how the FBI or TEA has not stepped in and started making arrests!!

Who knows, maybe they are monitoring and just waiting for the right moment to come in and surprise them all at one of Ylianas famous “Special Board Meetings”!!

June should have recused herself from any dciscussion or vote. The attorney knew this but did not disclose it. Ms cruz will be out of town if not the vote would be 3-3. Rodeo chuy gets his way again. The man is a bully in all sense of the word. He controls this bully majority of 4.

So, have you heard the latest money-making scheme the board approved? Chug Aguilera was awarded a $98,000 bid on android computers for the special Ed students! Question #1. When did Chuy Aguilera become a technology vendor? #2. What does Chuy Aguilera know about computers? #3. Yes he had the lowest bid, but was the board told that the computers Chuy sold were the most inferior ones produced therefore causing the bids to not be equal and that is why his cost so much less? #4 is it just me or does anyone else connect the fact that the husband of the special Ed director is the purchasing agent who sets the bids, receives the bids, recommends the vendors to the board? #5 Just recently, wasn’t Chuy Aguilar seen with the air cond man over at the old high school looking thru the facilities for a suitable location to relocate the special Ed dept? Who hired him to work in this district?

By the way, while the purchasing agent husband of the special ed director may say that it makes sense to buy inferior computers for special Ed students, I bet the parents of those kids would be insulted. Shall we also sit them in dilapidated desks, give them left over books and have them stand at the end of the line for lunch? And do the other vendors know that they bid on first and second quality computers while Chuy bid on third or bottom of the barrel computers, thus assuring that he submitted the lowest bid? Unfair bidding or shall we call it what it is… Bid rigging!

The district personnel were told that purchasing better quality computers would mean that they would last longer, but hey, that isn’t what they want. You see, if Chuys inferior computers get destroyed in one year, it’s better, because then he can sell another $98,000 again next year!!! What business will Chuy go into next? Maybe he’ll corner the market on senior rings and invitations? Or maybe he’ll start selling food to Food Services or gasoline for the Transportation dept?

Will someone please call the FBI? The last time I went to see them, nothing was done, but of course, Armando was the DA at that time.

Besides low, it is also illegal to campaign on city property.

If it is done in an overt manner (t-shirts, signs, handouts, etc.) they are in violation!

“Just Why” Elected officials know full well that they are open to scrutiny from the citizenry. We are “citizens,” not “subjects,” and as such, can express our opinions. If you cant’ stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!!

Don’t be fooled by comment by “Just Why”.

It is a feeble attempt by a well-versed/educated erudite trying to come across as some “semi illiterate” person.

First clue is the use of “At Daisy” instead of the customary @Daisy

My guess is it is one of the “THIS BOARD of 4” that Daisy T. is addressing her comments at!

@Just why, how is the DA’s investigation into Mr. Limon going? Mr. and Mrs. Tax_Payer_Voter are not overly pleased with paying two superintendents at once.

    Only 245 days until March 4, 2014 a Tuesday 8 months and 2 days from today (July 2, 2013).

aka How many days until Election Day

After further review: Newspaper column quotes Obregon as stating “I’ll probably file the board meeting on Friday for either Monday night or Tuesday night just to act on the teacher recommendations”.

If memory serves me correctly,, Yliana did not allow 2 Board members to call for a special meeting last December to discuss the Districts Christmas bonuses. Wait, those were retention bonuses, how silly of me. In this December meeting Yliana stated that only the School Board President can file a meeting, but she did not object to Obregon filing one for this coming week? What am I missing here?

An hour and a half of closed session discussion? It is evident that THIS BOARD of 4 THINK they know more than the PROFESSIONALS! Get a clue you 4 and leave the decision to the COMMITTEE MEMBERS of the CAMPUSES who recommended be the final call. This INTERIM SUPT. does not know the qualities of the applicants.
Lastly, F. Huerta used the word LOYALTY in her quote. REALLY???? LOYALTY TO THEM… For someone who has a teaching certificate (maybe… i hear) you would think she would have said “they are the best applicants for the job and care about student success!” ONLY IN SB
