Emelia “Emily” Martinez
An incoming San Benito High School senior was killed Thursday after being struck by a pickup truck near the Heavin Resaca Trail.
Detective Rogelio Banda Jr. of the San Benito Police Department said the teen, 17-year-old Emelia “Emily” Martinez, was hit by the vehicle near the vicinity of Robertson and Diaz Street at approximately 7:30 p.m. on June 27.
