Save Dolly (SD) volunteers are fighting to avoid a stalemate in their quest to obtain access into the forlorn Dolly Vinsant Memorial Hospital, and it appears the last move may be up to attorneys from the offices of Linebarger, Goggan, Blair and Sampson.
As SD Founder and Rotarian Lionel Betancourt explained, efforts to clean the hospital are on pause until Linebarger attorneys, serving as the legal representation for SBCISD, Cameron County, and the City of San Benito (the three governing entities which collectively own and hold stake in the forlorn hospital’s future) make a move.
Any move.
