RIO HONDO – Excitement arises once again as the Rio Hondo Bobcats take the field this coming Friday.

After last week’s 21-20 loss against the La Joya Juarez-Lincoln Huskies, the Bobcats now hold a 1-1 record. Quarterback Juan Puga said, “We fell short by a point, but we learn from all of our mistakes we make and we get stronger and stronger, that’s how good teams get better.”

Despite last week’s loss, Head Coach Rocky James is staying positive. Coach James said, “Our team played really well these past couple games, we just need to focus on running the ball offensively.”
