Football season is quickly rolling around, and to kickoff it off officially, the community is once again invited to attend “Meet the Greyhounds” this Friday.
Hosted annually by the San Benito Quarterback Club in conjunction with the San Benito High School Athletics Department, the event, according to Athletics Department Secretary Yolanda Gonzalez, is geared toward introducing the latest varsity squad to the purple and gold faithful.
Team members are usually introduced individually while junior varsity and freshmen athletes are introduced as teams. From the itinerary, the cheerleaders from both SBHS and Veterans Memorial Academy are slated to perform.
