DHSEleven illegal aliens were found “stashed” inside a mobile home located on the 1600 block of W. Business 77 in San Benito.

According to Nina Pruneda, spokesperson for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, eight males and three females were found after being tipped off by local authorities of “suspicious activity.” Ten of the illegal aliens were Mexican and one was Guatemalan.

None of the illegal aliens had any information about who had smuggled them, said Pruneda, so all will be “charged administratively.” Depending on the circumstances, each illegal alien will be considered a case-by-case situation. If any are found to have re-entered the country after “firmly being removed,” felony charges will be pressed.
