this administration, starting with mathis Lara, to Army Art was a mess to begin with. no desire to learn existing rules and regs they figured they’d just make them up as they went along. That’s how you date your own secratary and it not against the rules! Mathis man MAKES THE RULES, so no wound up stressed employees are tired of reporting to all the ass. managers and operations (code for powerless) chiefs) all details. they prob want a per sheet count on toilet paper use broken down for each man. in the meantime san benito suffers under a rule of idiocy. want new business? Lara brings you ACE CASH EXPRESS, want happy employess. Want a new leader for both pd and fire dept? lets find the
most underqualified/undercertifed GOVERNMENT MAN TO do the job. he’s used to telling people what to do right? thats not how civil service works nad he’s gonna find out the hard way that miltary rule only works in the military, everywhere else those pesky “WORKERS RIGHTS” get in the way. sadly the only way to effect real change in san benito, besides at joe’s barber shop, is a swift kick in the financial groin. lawsuits gonna pile up. next thing we’ll hear…..were just trying to figure what was goin on during the previous administration!!! try and find art and mathis mistake to explain then when they are already out on their butts.

Considering all the “STUFF” going on at city hall, the Risk Management Committee is not doing a very good job of managing the risks!

This is the result of “talking down at employees” instead of “talking to them”!

I thought the “two assistant city managers concept” was supposed to make everything run smoothly!

Personally, I am starting to lose confidence in this administration!
